Biography
Haitao Zhang, Deputy Dean of the School of Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, second-level professor, Huazhong Scholar Distinguished I-Post Professor, Ph.D. Supervisor, Young Scholar of the Changjiang Scholars Award Program of the Ministry of Education, National Young Top-notch Talent, and the National Outstanding Youth Fund winner. He received his Ph.D. from the University of Science and Technology of China in 2005, engaged in post-doctoral research at Cambridge University in 2007, was promoted to professor in 2010, and was named a doctoral supervisor in the same year. He is engaged in research in swarm intelligence, autonomous unmanned boat swarm collaboration, and multi-robot collaborative manufacturing. He has published 115 SCI papers, including 63 papers in Nature Machine Intelligence, Nature Communications, National Science Review, Automatica, IEEE Transactions 2 Springer English monographs. He has served as editorial board member of IEEE Trans. Systems, Man, and Cybernetics-Systems, IEEE Trans. Circuits and Systems II, Chinese Academy of Engineering Journal Engineering, Control Theory and Applications, Robotics and other journals, IEEE CDC, ACC, IFAC and other important international conference editorial board. At the invitation of the President of the National Academy of Sciences, he gave a conference report at the Sino-US Youth Science Frontiers Conference.
